Description
This item is a set of shape files representing the project boundaries and project points (calculated as centroids of the project boundaries) for all active, approved and "other" projects in the oil sands from 1985 to 2015. Note that for all of the in situ projects other than Cenovus Foster Creek, ConocoPhillips Surmont, Husky Sunrise, Statoil Chard, Corner, Leismer and May River and Suncor MacKay River and Firebag, the most recent data provided is for 2007. This is due to the fact that these projects participated in a pilot initiative to submit their 2014 GIS data.
